About the film

Despite fearing for her life, Ugandan medical anthropologist and queer rights activist Stella Nyanzi employs radical rudeness, provocative poetry, and traditional resistance tactics like nudity to fight oppression.

The screening is followed by a discussion between RPA Decolonial Futures Scholar in Residence, zethu Matebeni and Stella Nyanzi. 

This event is organised in collaboration with the AISSR Exploring Diversity research group.
